Monday night festivities (and stupidity)

It's Monday night and we were bored at home and wanted to have a play on our booths.... so we decided to attack the hill again and bring one up into our unit. Not smart, and something we won't try again. Every resident of our building heard us colourfully debating the best way to get the booth through a very narrow doorway and into a very narrow (and mirrored) elevator. The young guy that lives underneath us (that I may or may not have a slight crush on) wanted us to bring the booth over to his place in exchange for a few beers and a bbq with his mates. Unfortunately, as my hand was getting crushed at the time, we politely declined.

It was a logistical nightmare, but we did it without a scratch (to both the booth and the mirrors should anyone from the strata committee be reading this) And despite the scathing commentary, we agreed we worked well as a team of booth removalists.

Additionally, I found it worthy to note the spare bedroom that I spent all weekend changing into a comfortable guest room, is now home to a tower of guest books.

Delivery Day!!!

So I found some photos on the camera from one big hunk of a delivery.

I had the luxury of watching Rupert pack them into the trailer from my ivory tower. You would think from this first lesson, we would have learnt not to load them whilst on a hill.... yet we still try to defy this simple law of gravity daily to no avail. Nevertheless we have both cancelled our gym memberships and are getting stronger by the second.
